Alien 5, a Prequel

"Alien 5 could be a very interesting look back into the history of H.R. Giger's alien species itself. I think it would be nice to see an origin of the alien Xenomorph species. A prequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 masterpiece "Alien", ending with the crash of the derelict space craft on LV426. The film could also draw a conclusive tie between the Alien series, the Predator series and the Alien vs Predator series...as they are undoubtably related. Possibly starting on the far off planet of the space exploring creatures we found preserved in their derelict space craft, giving background to their origins as well. As for Sigourney Weaver making a re-appearance, this is a must! Maybe as an ancestor of Ellen Ripley? Either way as a designer who takes inspiration from these films as well as a fan, I think it is imperative that we know the origins of this fascinating species!"

Hi i was thinking about this: well the queen in avp, aliens,alien resurreccion laid eggs, inside de eggs are the facehugger but the queen was in a human host and is really big, the pred alien dont laid eggs he/she only put the chestbuster and ONLY on femmale!!!!!! so she/he need a uterus for breeding? and she/he was not very tall, then the spacejockey ship have a tons of eggs but they are the very alike for the queen with the human host so the spacey jockeys make test on us....again like the predators?
i really have highs hope for the precuel, i want to see the first xenomorph or he/she most pure form, the very basic one.
I hope to make at least my point clear.

I think they are still picking people for it, but I know that they have finished interviewing people, but no news of who the final selections are!

As long as we get a sci-fi horror rather than an e"xplosions are better when they are louder" blockbuster.

Thats right, Ripley. Sci-Fi horror. That is key. I really want them to go back to full puppet creatures as well, even though I know they never will. CGI is just too practical on all aspects.

Hopefully this movie will be a great one. I'm sick of sequels (or in this case, prequel) coming out after years of huge followings and build up, only to be over glorified shit fests.

I did hear about that mother. I forget where I saw it, but I heard that scott like rubber suits better than CGI, so I think he is opting for using the rubber suits over CGI! I hope that makes you happy Ripley!
