AvP 3 Steam
I got the AvP 3 demo for Steam, which is stupid, since I hate Steam. However, when I tried to launch the game, I got the error message below. I often get that ".NET Framework" problem, and I never could fix it. Every time I try to install .NET Framework, the install always fails, no matter how many times I download it from Microsoft's official website. Here is the error message I received:

Have you tried installing the latest version of DirectX?

dude, first, what XP version are you currently using, second, how much time you don,t format you hard drive (If framework doesn,t want to install, then your OS might be a bit messed up
 ), and third post your specs please, I know It,s a NETFRAMEWORK problem, but when It does not install then there could be several problems in your computer, including incompatibilities with some of your hardware
