AvP3 demo tomorrow!

An Aliens Vs. Predator multiplayer demo is set for release on Xbox Live, Steam and PSN TOMORROW, Sega's confirmed.

The multiplayer demo gives access to all three species - the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien - and Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game's multiplayer maps.

Jason Kingsley, CEO of Rebellion said of the demo: "Multiplayer was a huge part of our original AVP game back in 1999, and we've kept the spirit of that classic experience in creating the multiplayer for our new Aliens vs Predator. With the demo now gamers can get to grips with each of the three iconic species so they can hone their skills and be ready for when the game launches and battle commences."

I can now reveal that an online multiplayer demo for Aliens vs. Predator is about to land. The demo will be released simultaneously on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and STEAM on February 4th.

The multiplayer demo will allow gamers the chance to play as all three species – the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien – and pitch their skills against each other in Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game’s multiplayer maps.

Multiplayer Map Scenario:
The Alien Queen was drawn to the warmth of the Freya’s Prospect Ore Refinery. It was here that she established her Hive. Hence the Refinery multiplayer map features not only the signature metallic architecture of a Weyland-Yutani colony but also surfaces made entirely of Alien resin – the ominous first sign of Xenomorph infestation.

There are numerous vantage points for Predator hunters, dark corners and destructible lights for Alien stalkers and tight corridors for heavily-armed Marines. On this map no species is at an advantage and all will have to fight for survival. Welcome to the Aliens vs Predator multiplayer experience.

PC demo is up on STEAM. Got a few rounds in and I'm in love; especially playing as the Aliens, loved that! I didn't get a chance to play as the Preds yet though. The Marines were OK, your average soldier with guns, flashlight and radar.

Only had the option for a deathmatch. It's going to be fun when it's race vs race vs race though.
