Essentially, this is Gearbox telling us that only Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 are considered true Aliens movies and the rest are just a bit pants. Alien Resurrection, Alien vs. Predator and Alien vs. Predator: Requiem ate rpo be ignored, which is pretty much what every one else in the Alien community thinks anyway.

AvP is an awesome IP, it's just the films are awful. The games have been pretty good.

I am so happy that they are using the first three movies and not A:R because in my opinion A:R is screwed up and makes no sense (I mean compaired to the other movies)
