Bungie said that the movie Aliens influenced "The Flood" alot, especially when you encounter them in the first game

Huh, as a big Halo fan I've never thought of that. The Flood does share a lot of similarities with the alien. It is a parasitic lifeform, it has a hive mind intelligence, it kills basically anything that moves, it requires infecting other seentient species to spread... yeah. I can see that now.

All that and how the first mission involving the flood in the original halo plays out, the radar blips, the video you see of the first marine squad sent in and how they met thier demise, all reminiscent of Aliens

Yeah, the Infection forms remind me of Facehuggers. A horrible end either way.

Well, as long as they admitt they got it from Alien, I'm ok. I like seeing people take concepts I love and put a new spin on them, so long as they give credit to where credit is due.

yeah I think they did, but if they didn't then being one of the best selling games of all time kinda helps too! lol
